EU Law
Etude Patrick Goergen figures among the most specialized Luxembourg law firms in European Union law. Our services in EU law include legal monitoring, lobbying and court actions before the European courts.
By legal monitoring, clients receive occasional or systematic information about the evolution of European Union law in the fields which are important for the respective client. In order to be able to deal successfully with a dossier, we expect our clients to provide us with the following documents and data :
After receipt of a complete file, we take immediate action, meaning that depending on the file, insofar as is necessary, the counterparty is notified one last time to proceed to payment or is immediately summoned by our bailiff to appear before the court having jurisdiction.
Cases are monitored on a daily basis until the final payment has been received.
If the debtor has been declared insolvent or bankrupt, we shall produce a notification of a claim with the liquidator and follow up the case until the payment of a dividend or the delivery of a tax certificate stating that the claim is uncollectible.
